Microsoft Agent

Microsoft Agent allows you to use characters to interact with people using a computer over the web or in stand alone applications. I have set this page up to show you some of the things it can do. There are links to many other web pages using agent technology you can explore.

To fully enjoy the Microsoft Agent pages, you must have the MS Agent Control (installed by Internet Explorer 4 - Full Install), the Text-to-Speech control, and the Voice Command and Control engine. You will find them all at the Microsoft Agent Home Page.

The necessary controls will install automatically if needed, when you visit the demo page. But, I strongly suggest also to download the character files from the Microsoft Agent Home Page, to speed up the character animations. As there is no default location to place these files, I suggest to place them under C:\Program files\Microsoft Agent\Characters, a location also suggested by Microsoft.
